At Engagezy, protecting customer information is a core part of how we build and operate our platform.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
1. Data Protection
Customer data is logically separated between organizations and is accessible only to authorized users based on their account permissions.
We use access controls and authentication mechanisms to help prevent unauthorized access to customer accounts and data.
2. Encryption
Data transmitted between users and Engagezy is protected using encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS.
We also use appropriate security controls to protect stored information and sensitive credentials.
3. Access Control
Access to production systems and customer information is restricted to authorized personnel who require access to perform their responsibilities.
We follow the principle of limiting access to what is reasonably required for operational and support purposes.
4. Infrastructure Security
Engagezy uses established cloud infrastructure and managed services for application hosting, databases, authentication, and other platform components.
We rely on the security capabilities provided by these infrastructure providers while maintaining application-level controls within Engagezy.
5. Monitoring & Security
We monitor our systems for operational and security issues and investigate suspected unauthorized access, abuse, or other security events.
When a security issue is identified, we take reasonable steps to contain, investigate, and remediate it.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Security is a shared responsibility.
Customers are responsible for:
- Protecting their Engagezy login credentials.
- Managing user access within their organization.
- Using appropriate permissions for team members.
- Ensuring that information uploaded to Engagezy is collected and processed lawfully.
- Immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access or account compromise.
7. Third-Party Services
Engagezy may use trusted third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate certain parts of the platform, including hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, payments, and integrations.
Where third-party services process customer information, their involvement is limited to the services they provide to Engagezy or as authorized through an integration.
8. Data Deletion
Customers may request deletion of their Engagezy account and associated customer data by contacting:
After receiving a valid request, we will review the request and take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize applicable information, subject to:
- Legal or regulatory retention requirements.
- Outstanding contractual obligations.
- Security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution requirements.
- Data contained in secure backups, which may remain for a limited period before being automatically overwritten or securely deleted.
Customer administrators may also manage or remove users and customer information through available Engagezy functionality.
9. Security Incident Response
If we identify a security incident that materially affects customer data, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and contain the incident and provide notifications where required by applicable law or contractual obligations.
10. Responsible Disclosure
If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability in Engagezy, please report it responsibly rather than attempting to exploit it.
